Pfizer chose Intelligent Media’s digital signage network, in order to display a disease awareness campaign against pneumococcus. The campaign aired for seven months, via the healthcare digital signage network that consists of hospitals, medical centers and 820 pharmacies. Intelligent Media has the exclusive commercial exploitation of the aforementioned networks.
Disease awareness is very important, especially for a condition such as pneumococcus, which causes an average of 1.6 million deaths worldwide, especially in vulnerable groups of people, such as infants and elderly people. The public awareness for the virus was the main target of the campaign, as awareness is the beginning of prevention against the disease and can be accomplished through vaccination.
